Exclamation Problems with IS 250 alloy wheels blistering

Has anyone had problems with their IS 250 alloy wheels blistering? I take very good care of my wheels, yet I have several areas with noticeable blistering. I'm very disappointed considering I've never had this problem with other vehicles.

I have this too. I've read somewhere where a guy got a whole set of 17 replaced because he mentioned it but I cant find the thread.

My stock 17's are bubbling in some places.

I am going to get them refinished and powdercoated though.

Mine are doing the same thing, if it's out of warranty we're out of luck right?

Can someone confirm that this is what you are seeing?

I took these pictures of my wheels.

I had that but way worse. I was out of warranty so I had called corporate and they worked it out eventually. The dealership received credit from them and had the rims "re-done". They came out ok, but I can still spot a few places where they missed filing or polishing the "blisters". There was a thread on this, should be able to find it if you search under bubbling.

Well here it is...

When I brought mine in for service ( I was still under warranty at 45K), I mentioned it the dealership and showed them what was going on, they actually just replaced two out of the four rims for me. The rims were in pretty bad shape from being curbed by the previous owner as well. I would make it a point to say something, the only thing they can tell you is no, and if that's the case, then you call corporate and complain to them about it and they will get it fixed.

Good luck.

I have this issue too, but am out of warranty =(. Seems like a common problem on the 06-08 rims.
