rear you should fine, the front u might rub depending on how low your car is and how wide your tires are.

Default Wheel offset help/recommendations

So I'm ready to take the plunge and buy some new wheels. The one's I plan to get are Volk SF Winnings. I was thinking 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 with a 38 and 42 offset respectively.

My objective is to be flush, with a nice stance for an IS350. Will the above do the trick? or any other better suggestions?

For what's it's worth, I'm lowered on BC Racing Coils.

Thanks in advance for any input/advice

I believe it's offset 25-30 to be flushed in those specs for front and rear. Johnnyboy should chime in.

+22 front and rear will get you flush.

how low do you plan to go, 'nice stance' does require rolling fenders and vipstretch tires with a +22 offest

So this is what you're up to. Nice choice in wheels. I've tried researching the offset question as well and the consensus seems to be +22 F/R for flushness with 8.5/9.5. What I'd like to know is what offsets come closest to flush without needing fender mods on a moderate coilover drop. Anyone?

i had no rub with +25 front and +27 rear and sat pretty flush. your just going to have to run a stretched tire to avoid shaving the rears, if you shave the rears you can run +22.

What does shaving the rears mean?

there is a lip that points inward perpandicular with the edge of the fender. shaving means you get rid of that lip on the inside of the fender. if gives you about 1/4" of clearance for the wheel/tire to travel upward into the wheel well without rubbing.

So mid-30s (say 35) on a 8.5/9.5 setup with a moderate coilover drop won't require fender mods?
