215 ain't so bad. When it's on the wheel, it's a minimal reduction in wheel lip protection as well. The way I thought about it was, even with a 225 my lip would get damaged. Just try to be a little more of a cautious driver. Good luck!
Yea... I used to have the same exact wheel but +31 with 225. I rubbed on the front as well, but that was because I didn't push back the liner. I didn't mind the rubbing here and there, it's just that I don't want it to rub on every single crack or bump on the road. I guess it isn't that much of a difference from 225 to 215 though.

So the answer seems like, even if I bend the tabs and heat gun/push the liner, I'd still rub too much with 225.

Thanks everyone,
Noz

When I had 225, my fender liner was to' up from the floo' up. Sucked. After I went to 215s my problems were solved lol.

Default Offsets again..Help Pls..

Hi guys, planning to get these wheels and they are used and on the net,so its not possible to try them on before purchase.

Its 19x8.5 with 39 offsets and 19x9.5 with 45 offsets work vs xx.
Plan to lower on eibachs.

Will the front be ok?
I know the rears are weak with +45 but may i know roughly how much will it come out compared to the oem 17x8?

And one more thing, some are high disk type for BBK and some rims are normal type, will the appearance or offsets of the rims differ from each other like lip size?

Thanks and cheers!!

Those sizes are really weak. So you will clear everything no problem. If you're getting these used, I'd suggest finding a different set so you'll be more happier in the end.

Thanks for the reply iSuxel.

Just found a wheel offset calculater site.
base on the site from 8" width with 45 offset (OEM) to 8.5 width with 39 offsets the wheel will extend 12mm.

And with the rears 8x45 offset to 9.5x45 offsets, wheels will extend 19mm.

Is this correct?
Are the calculation spot on?

Thanks
