Question for the experts: Would the OEM GS 17" wheels work? They are:

17x7.5, 5x114.3 bolt pattern, +45 offset

Everything matches the 2IS except wheel width - any issues with going with 7.5" instead of 8" (ignoring tire size for now)?

Default Wheel Question For IS250

Will 19x9 offset 45 - 235/35/19 (front) and 19x10 offset 45 - 275/30/19 (rear) work for a IS250 RWD lowered on Eibach Pro Kit with no rubbing?

I'm thinking of going with 245/35 in front and 285/30 in back. Will I have rubbing all around? Look at the first setup above for wheel size and offset..

Default 19x9 Front Wheels

The only wheel I like the shop has left for the front is 19x9 with offset of 45. I'm planning to run 235/35s. Will the wheels stick out beyond the fender?

Hey, what wheels are you getting???? Are you putting 10's in the back?? It's going to look good if you do.

Yes, I'm getting Lexion 203 by Ray's Engineering in diamond cut finish. 19x9 in front and 19x10 for the rear. The front tires will be stretched with 235/35s but that's what Mackin reccommends. So I'm going with what's suggested.

Mackin Industries said they will not rub. I'm not a wheel/tire expert so I left it to the pros. They have run this setup before on a lowered 2IS and the owner reported no rubbing. These were my tire choices in 235/35 and 275/30 - Bridgetone Pole Position, Michellin PS2, or Goodyear F1. Mackin said those tires have thicker sidewalls and they will rub. They suggested Falken 452s. So that's what I'm going with. Regardless of what they say, I'm prepared to mod so there is no rubbing.

One question, with an offset of 45 for the front, someone told me the lip will be bigger. I thought it would've been the other way around. Any comments?

Default wheel size question.

After checking what size of wheel and offset other members have on their ISX50, it seems like most people have 19x8.5 with between +35 and 38 offset in the front. Now, I was wondering if I go with 19x8.5 with +45 offset in the front, would it make the wheel staying to close to the body? meaning inner side? or would it stick out of the fender line?
I have gone to many different web sites that have wheel size and offset guide, but I do not seem to understand it correctly at all.
The reason I'm asking this is because, the rims I am looking to buy has 19x8.5 with 45 offset, but if they will stay too close to the inner body, I was thinking to run 5 mm spacer, which will make it still out 5 mm out to outer side so that it will make the wheel offset as 40mm, which should not rub?

8.5" +45 will be too close to the spindle. You'll have to run the spacer and not go with anything wider than a 235 or 245.

BTW, I usually don't recommend spacers. If you can't get the wheel in the right offset, look elsewhere.
