Will those wheels fit? START HERE.
pretty much any lexus rim should fit on your GS, as long as you dont have the bigger brake calipers, im not sure what the 98 400 comes with
he asked me in PM also, i said it should fit, but... he never mentioned his fenders were un modded. a 275 without rolled or shaved fenders is gunna be tight.
just so everyone knows, I ASSUME that if you dont say anything about no fenders mods, you either have them done already or ARE NOT AGAINST modifying your fenders...
to everyone
YOU NEED MODDED FENDERS FOR AGGRESSIVE WHEELS PERIOD

i have NO PROBLEM modifying my fenders if needed... thanks for your PM as it was much appreciated...
i already addressed your fitment question, but since you made up your mind on a wider tire size, i see no point in giving more advice you won't take anyways.
and since you already went with those tires on those wheels, you'll just have to mount up the wheels and tires, and find out for yourself.
best of luck.

I went with a slightly wider tire due to the finding a matching set of tires at a good price through Discount Tire.... it was very hard to find a set of 265's with a matching set of 225's in the front and not compromise ride quality... my apologies if it offended you in anyway..
Wow this amazing I'm new to this forum and I already ran into my first smarta$%. I apologize that my first question was lacking info. Can someone else answer my question?
that's why i "asked".
btw, try not to take an attempt at humor personally... and apology accepted.
Can anyone please explain to me what offset does and how it contributes to your car? Does it just make your car look better by having the wheel mounted on further out away from center of the car? Sorry for the noob question,, and thanks in advance!
I'm debating to get 18 or 19, and I have a 350 dropped on H&R .. what would be a typical setup with good looks and handle?

so I moved the car and let the rear settle a little on the 275/30-20 and this is what i got below... no rubbing noise any suggestions now that its settled? like shave roll? even when i put a passenger in the back it just tucked in more...let's get some positive answers since all the "INFO" is right here lol

honestly, there's no template of what's the "best" diameter, width or offset for wheels. everyone will have a different opinion, so find out what you want first. not quite the definitive answer to your last question, but then again there isn't one.
best of luck.

if it's not rubbing, then what's the issue? please explain.
start here: this is tire rack's technical explanation of offset.
