Actually that is a thread on the unit but not about this ebay purchase. It seems this person doesn't sell stuff like this normally and it is ebay so there is some form of risk. You can try to get flyaudio to pricematch.

I emailed the seller to ask what why are they selling it. Persons got 100% and has been on ebay since 2000. Plus ebay and paypal have some type of buyer protection, like if not the same as what the seller says you can get your money back, yeah you lose what you paid for shipping but so what

I'd ask for real pictures. It looks like a decent deal, that is if you're willing to put in the install hours.

Hit up Mat from Automax. Automax is our vendor here. Plus he can price match. I rather buy from vendor on here than ebay.

the seller responded, turns out the seller since buying it lost his job and needs to sell it to pay bills. He was to going to install it, but never got around to it.

I'd buy from AutoMax. The service and support I've received is second to none, and they price match to boot. Try getting post-purchase support from an eBay seller...

There is a company in China selling the system for $1200 shipped to the US. If you are looking for the best price, that is going to be it (for the moment).

As I am sure everyone knows, you will always be able to find something for less money on the Internet (that's the nature of selling on the Internet). As most have already pointed out, much of what you pay for (especially on a large electronic purchase like this) is the support you receive after your purchase. For example, Javier needed a new GPS antenna due to an accident with the cable, I sent him a new one out for FREE without asking any questions. I swapped out another unit for a client before I received his unit in the mail because there was the possibility of an issue I hadn't seen before. I am happy to do everything I can to make sure people are happy with there systems!

As a part of the community, I would hate to anyone get ripped off by a company that disappears after you purchase. Unfortunately, it's already happening. I have received a couple phone calls from people who bought systems from overseas or retailers who don't provide ANY support. Sometimes I can help, sometimes I can't.

I am happy to do everything I can to get people the best deals and the best support possible. Let me know if you guys have any questions!
