I just had my wife's car detailed and I noticed the same thing. The trunk has scratches all over it. In Illinois, we have had our share of snow also. Geez....
Just be glad you don't have a Mitsubishi Lancer. My paint is chipped all over, the sides, the hood, the roof, the rear fenders......It is horrible for paint and clear. So cheap. And it is an 09, bought with 7 miles on it.
