What would be the recommended gauge for the wire to tap into the current wiring? Thanks!

This mod looks simple and NICE!!, but have there been any issues with it yet?? i.e. the DRLs stay on when the headlights come on, or that the fogs die out, or anything fishy like that? As long as everything works as it should, then Imight just do this NOW! hahaha
And this wouldnt VOID the warranty would it?

Nice simple mod.
???

Is the green wire a trigger/coil side of the foglight relay OR is it the load side of the foglight relay? This will help me choose the proper switch.

I'm assuming its the coil side by the size, but thought I'd ask.

from what i can tell

1 rocker switch
2 long enough pieces of wire.
2 male spade connectors
2 t-taps

i've never used t-taps before, easy to use? seems like it just uses a small incision into the wire.

also where do you run the wire through the firewall?
