Thanks, I think everything can be found on ebay.

Now I'm just unsure which kind of wire to use, there are different wires for different amps and Ga..also how to run the wire through the firewall?

yeah you could. just that you won't have the option to switch it off.

i tried to look for a place to run through the firewall. only place i see is the grommet where the hood release cable goes through.

Lately I have been reading up on how to do the fog light mod, now according to the various write ups everything seems easy, you find the fog light wire and find a power wire, wire them together with a switch so you can turn them off. ( if you dont the fog light will always be on)

Now here lies the issue, a switch is somewhat cumbersome and isnt the route I am looking for, is anyone aware of a wire that can be tapped into that only supplies power when the ignition is turned on?

Suggestions: Parking light wire, tail light wire, any other you may have in mind
If anyone can help me find the location of these wires it would greatly help.

***Since you found the fog light wire and power wire, im guessing theres a way for you to tell me which wire is the parking light.... id like to tap into that one

Thank you

I tapped mine into the ignition wire. I can't remember what color it is, but I do remember that it was a pain in the *** to get to. I will take a look at it when I get home and post some pictures.

ur an all-star. by tapping into the ignition wire, this means ur fogs are always on, and u have absolutely no control over them right?

How did u find out which wire was the ignition wire? ideally id like the parking light wire, but if NOBODY has a way of finding it, ill take what i can get lol

Nice. Might have to do this. I wish I could replace my DRLs with the fogs being on.
