Wassup guys my 06 is350 is wasting way too much gas. I do a lot of city driving but I feel that is wasting way to much gas. When I fill up the tank I get 220, and city driving I get 10mpg 12 sometimes. I have a fujita intake and a greddy sp2 exhaust and I do not drive aggressive at all. So how can I improve my mpg?

Check your tire pressure and drive in snow mode.

How many miles on your car? are you consistent with your maintenance? you may think you're babying your car from stoplight to stoplight but you'd be surprised at what other people might think when riding with you. What I mean is we all have our own standards about driving habits.

Hmm, I drive 75% city and tend to get on it here and there, so I average about 16-17 mpg when not on the freeway. The cars throttle response "learns" your driving habits so if you want to start from scratch disconnect the battery for 10-15 minutes to re-set this, might help. My car tends to wait longer to shift and so on because it assumes I will want the quick response, and usually it is correct

I see you're in NY. The formulation of gas in winter in cold weather states is more oxygenated, and can result in as much as a 10% drop in mpg. Other possible reasons:

- Do you need spark plugs? Fouled plugs can cause bad gas mileage;

- Tire pressures lower in colder weather;

- Check to make sure you don't have a brake pad dragging (seriously - I've actually seen this happen);

- Are you warming up the car for an extended period of time? That can contribute to lower mileage as well;

- A dirty air filter can negatively affect mileage.

There are literally hundreds of things that can affect mileage, but maintenance items and the way you drive should be at the top of the list.

Umm no that would just be corny for that I would take the train. I mostly be by myself in the car. I guess I'm going to buy new spark plugs because everything else is on point possibly change my oil to 0w-30

spark plugs will not drop your mpg all way down to 10 mpg.

theres no easy way to say this, but your car is going to blow up
