Wald Replica Spoiler
ill takes pics of the replica when it comes in and i gets painted and put on my car.. im thinking it might look funny with my ings kit. i guess ill be the guinnea pig and take one for the team.. i know its a replica ,but saving 400 bucks i can buy other mods
here is a pic of my Ing's with wald spoiler, I think it goes pretty well. (but is not replica)
Wald replica spoiler... Before install
according to the body shop i am taking it to, the fitment is good. But there are a few gaps on both ends that need to be filled in with whatever filler they use (no contact b/w edge of trunk to spoiler). Kinda hard to see the gap b/w the spoiler n the trunk in the photo but ill take more pics after paint and install. Bringing my car in tomorow morn and will have it back thursday, so ill post more pics then

nothing against reps especially since i had an ings rep and a fab rep but i can tell you now don't have them fill in the gaps for you...it may look tight but when you want to take it off at some point, which i think you will, it's gona be a pain in the *** and it's going to look ugly as **** with that silicone and whatnot stuck on your trunk.....just my two cents though and from personal experience
Thanx for the pic. aliu603 does have a great point about not filling the gap because you may want to change spoilers in the future. For a replica, the gap is so small that I do not think it will be that much of an eye sore. Cant wait to see it painted
they are chargin me $250cnd ($225US?) for everything... as for the L, i thought that they are suppose to take off the emblem and stick it on the spoiler... I was wondering that too actualy, i guess its better then cutting out a hole?
atleast thats what im making myself believe hahah

Yeah dude i was thinking about that for a bit too, but took a dive and went with it anyways... they didn't recommend just using 3m double sided tape since there would be less contact with the gaps and all and easy to pull off. Hopefully i won't get sick of the spoiler or i'm gonna have to repaint my whole damn trunk. But thanks for the warning anyways
I hope so. But once you remove the "L", you will need to either drill holes ontop of the new spoiler or cut off the little pieces that go into the stock struck area to attach the "L" back.
