Default Back in the Lexus game

Hello IS Model members,
I didnt see a "new member" thread here, so I just wanted to say hello. I use to have drive an 03 Lexus GS sport design a few years back. I sold it, and went to get my dream car (an Acura NSX) well now I'm back in the Lexus game. I knew it wouldnt be long. Today I just picked up a 06 IS 350 White/Tan and I'm IN LOVE with this car!

It's my new DD, and I've been having a good time driving. Sometimes you have to go buy a christmas gift for yourself

Pics will be posted later...as I know they're a must. Anywho, I hope everyone's having a great day and great holiday wee

Mike

I sold the nsx but I am working on my business, so once things are on the up and up, I will have another.

Anyways, here's the pics of the nsx

and sorry, it's evening here, I just washed it for the first time (it's cold out here!) but I will get better pics hopefully sometime this week, when I go back home to let my photograper friend work his magic ha

Thank you! they were taken by my friend who is trying to get into that field. I think he's going to work wonders with the IS...he heard it was white, and told me they would be beautiful

I have no idea. I'm going to take it into the shop to find out. After a few hours, I've found out it was once modded (not a bad thing) however the previous owner took out the low beams (must have had some nice bulbs) and it ended with me getting pulled over tonight

Welcome back to the Lexus family.

Sweet looking NSX. Love the color.

What are your plans with the IS?

thanks all...the next mod is looking for new headlight bulbs

in all seriousness, I'm going to get any maintenance work done to it. I will be looking for a new wheel (may be a few month process with it being winter here (snow/salt). Thinking of a Gunmetal or black with a polished lip, or maybe a bronze/gold with a polished lip. I will also be looking at kits. I like the look of the GFX but we'll see. With it being winter, there's a lot of time to do some research.

Also, this may seem like a dumb question and I'm searching for it, however does anyone know if all IS350s are HID or halogen? Trying to figure out what I need to do to get my low beams fixed

not all IS (since yours looks like the 06) came with HID(mine 06 came with halogen) and I am not sure how you can find out if it did or not. Best thing would be to ask the person you bought that car from!

I think you can just look at the color of the light? cos i know my 06 350 is HID and when i get the 09 loaner 250 it was halogen the color was different. Not sure if i am right.
