I was selling my wheels and they haven't been on the car for awhile so I go put them on for a last photoshoot before letting them go come to find out the front wheels are bent and not talkin about a bend on the lip but it wabbles a bit... I saw this when I went to go take it to go get rebalanced cause thats what I thought it needed but nope it was wabbling, now I'm thinking because of the hard holes I would run into going on the 5 to LA. would this do any damage to the front axles or joints of the suspension if I were to put them on for use? its not as bad as you guys might think but it does vibrate a little at like lower speeds and higher speeds but at 55 - 70 its good. any suggestions advice. thanks in advance.
What did they say at the place where you got them rebalanced, how badly are the wheels twisted/bent?
They said it would be ok but I don't know it just feels crappy when I start to drive fast or slow but like I said at those speeds mentioned I really don't feel anything. So I am at a delema is there a shop that can fix this kind of problem or is the wheel not good anymore. Seiously need some
help here.
Could the problem be somewhere else (meaning that the wheel is not twisted) since rebalancing it didn't help? Did I understand correctly that there isn't any visible damage? One thing that I've come across before is that there was some dirt that had dried on the inner surface and that caused a tremble.
If the wheel is twisted, there are people who fix wheels (with other methods than just rebalancing) and I think they could help you out, but since I live up here in the bakcwoods of the Nordic land (=Finland) I guess it would be useless to recommend some of the local shops..

no visible damage on the wheels itself but when on the balance machine the only way I can describe it is that the wheel wabbles left to right, you know how some wheels wabble up and down when on the balancer not this one this moves left to right sort of like how a fish moves its tail left to right if that helps any but not as bad as it sounds but it does do that.
Ok I thought it was doing the "up and down"-wabble. But in any cae, there are experts to fix that, find a shop somewhere that knows what they're doing and take it their for them to check out. I don't think it's a totally lost cause.
