Searching the web for the best detectors out there. I like the idea of a cordless detector like the solo 2, but still pricey. I also like the visor clip instead of the windshield mount. Anyone have opinions on what they like and use ?

I have the escort Solo 2 and its a great detector, I like not having any wires.

 

Escort 9500i here. Love it, and has saved my *** countless times.

You don't have to worry about wires if you get the stealth cord!

This thread kinda talks about both hardwiring and the diff types of radars. I have an Escort 8500. Works GREAT! I love it. Except when it falls off from the suction and scares me half to death.

i used to have the v1 but now i have the escort 9500xi and its awesome!

 

Use to have a V1 and 9500i red display. Now I have the 9500i blue display and love it! I have it mounted underneath my mirrors.
