when doing a long/big turn at a constant speed i sometimes get a jitter or a lil hop in the steering ...
i'm not doing a sharp turn or anything .. i simply turn the steering wheel as the road curves and try to maintain it there but as i am doing that there will be a lil hop that would make the steering feel loose/jumps by itself ...

does anyone else get this ? it doesn't happen all the time .. but happens enough for me to think about it

i don't know. you did mess with the suspension so it could be the f-sport springs. double check to make sure it's installed correctly. if there's nothing wrong with it, then take it to the dealership and get it checked up. you shouldn't be having problems especially since your car's practically brand new.

i kinda had that problem behind i had the springs install too

i want to take it to he dealership .. but i can for see them telling me its fine .. and i probably wont be able to replicate the problem in front of them

Same thing happens to my g/f's 08 250 and I hate it. And look I have an 08 250 aswell and it doesnt happen with F-Sports. She took it to the dealer once and they told her they didnt notice anything... g/l I would take it to the dealer and just see what they say, chances are though they will blame it on the springs.

springs shouldn't effect that... something so subtle and only happens rarely.

there was a TSIB for the rack and pinion not sure if it applies to 09

anybody know if the Rack and pinion TSIB applies to 09s?

sometimes when you approach a light, and you dont have your hand entirely on the steering wheel, does it jerk a little to the left or right? if so, this might be the bridgestone potenzas.. i took it to the dealership and they said the tires were pretty aggressive and it'll grab onto road like that..

yaa i get that steering wheel jerk wen i stop too ... i was told its because of the tires as well ...

grr... so if i change tires then my car wont act this way?

i believe because of the grooves in pavement from years of wear and tear, the tires will naturally want to settle into the deep spots. since our tires are a bit wider than your average, you'll notice they want to settle in much more so than other cars with thinner tires.

when i went from 17's to 18's and about an inch wider in the front and year, i had to readjust how much force i used on the steering wheel to keep it straight because it took more effort.
