Default Steering gets caught up in 11 o'clock position

When I'm driving on the freeway and going on a long left curve, sometimes the steering wheel sort of gets stuck in the 11 0'clock position. I can still turn the wheel to the right and get it unstuck easily. Feels like it gets caught in a notch or detent somewhere. But it doesn't happen everytime.

Power steering functions normally other than this very specific problem. No power steering pump groans or noises and steering is smooth and easy to turn otherwise. OBD2 code scanning reveals no errors.

Something in the linkages somewhere? Perhaps a tie rod end, etc? I'd get the steering and suspension checked, as it seems like a safety issue....especially if it suddenly gets worse or binds up when it's too late.

If / when you take it to a dealership (which I think you should), DO mention that you feel this is a VERY DANGEROUS problem. Not because you may feel it is very dangerous or not, but because (most) dealerships clean the peanut butter out of their ears when they hear this.

this vehicle does not have a power steering pump, it is not a hydraulic system, it is electrically driven.
