IS this normal?
I have power tilt/telescoping steering wheel on my 250 and now after the dealer fixed the clicking noice issue I had with the steering wheel, I got a loud clunk noice when the steering wheel moves into the position every time I start the car. I can feel how hits the brake pedal when making this noice And sometime I can feel that it hit the pedal pretty hard. I mentioned this to the dealer and the tech said this is normal and wont do anything about it. Is this normal to you?

I would think that if my Lexus made any sort of loud clunk it was not normal. Take it back and tell them that. But I do not have actual experience in this as I don't have the power telescoping steering wheel option
Will go back to the dealer and convince them to check it out.
Really don't like to go back there. Everything is normal according to them. The clunk noice - normal, Break sounds like a old door in a horror movie - normal, rattle everywhere after a month - normal, gaps in the dash - normal etc... Now the best part, they are the only Lexus AD in my city...

I have a 2 week old IS 250 AWD, no clunk what so ever when steering wheel returning to park position.
Take back to the dealer, if they say this is normal, have sit with you in new IS250 as see what it does, there will be no clunk, see what they then.

Thanks
There's no "clunking" noise with mine steering column when the brake is applied or when it returns to upright position. Definitely let your Lexus dealer know it's NOT normal. Something is definitely wrong.
