^I have no life. LOL!

Was just a our local international Auto show today and test drove a bunch of cars. The only car faster than an IS350 was the Challenger 6.4L with the Scat Pack. The EcoBoost Mustang was quite a surprise though. Than twin-scroll turbo really does spool up quickly!

Lol, it's funny. When I used to hit up the Auto shows in Cali when I had my 03 330i , a lot of those test drives were fun because a good chunk of the cars available for test driving where either a little faster or significantly faster than my Bimmer lol. Now when I go to the shows everything feels slower and I begin to wonder how I ever thought the BMW felt fast?? Maybe it's because it was my first car and it was, by comparison, faster than my moms 02 V6 mustang and my brothers IS250 But now the only thing faster than my car at the shows is the Camaro SS (only a little faster IMO) and the Cts-V (waaaaay faster). All those Malibus, Camrys, Impalas, Accords, Ecoboost mustangs,etc... Slow lol.

Edit: Oh and by the Camaro SS only being slightly faster I mean on the streets you drive where at most I hit 70 ish and slow down since I don't wanna wreck a test drive vehicle or endanger the many people around me. I'm sure an SS would or at least should devastate an IS350

Last gen stock SS runs high 12's, low 13's in the 1/4 mile. The 2016's are a bit faster, they run low to mid 12's.

Yeah I was actually aware of what it's supposed to run before even driving it (im a car geek lol) but I was surprised that it didn't feel that much faster than my is350. Then again the real difference in speed doesn't become as apparent until higher speeds in my opinion. But that probably has more to do with the weight of the car being about 4000 lbs

couple months ago i saw a 5th gen camaro SS leave a light hard a little ways ahead of me, so i wanted to get next to him at the next light (about 1AM) the light turned green and we both took off harder than normal then i jumped on it and the camaro gave chase, I looked at the speedo it was around 90mph and the camaro was at my front fender. then the guy in the camaro grabbed the brakes, we slowed down exchanged thumbs up and when on our separate ways. The guy's wife was laughing when they got next to me, Looking at the specs on the 5th gen Camaro SS it show's 0-60 is in the 4.7-4.9 seconds, so just a tiny bit quicker on paper than a IS350, but the street is the great equalizer.
