Every IS350 is unique, to some extent, and every owner has their own threshold of how much abuse they are willing to subject their car to. I've seen numbers from ~4.8 seconds to right around six seconds and believe them all. Car and Driver got 5.1 seconds in a comparison test in 2006, for what that is worth.
Lol just search youtube. ive seen the ios350 beat evos stis hondas g35s bmmers 350z. ive also seen them lose. Depends on the driver, road conditions, weather conditions. Hell, ive even seen a 350 keep up with an isf until 3rd / 4th gear.
sorry for the stupid thread but
i was wondering what car's can i beat out in the street's
highway races and light to light
you understand me
G35
Maxima 3.5 Se
G35 Four Door
Lincolin LS
Ect.........
For reference the IS is a high 13 sec car
G35 coupe goes low 14's.
G37 coupe goes a higher 13 then the IS plus its stick and 99% of people cant drive
G37 sedans are usually AWD so theyre auto and they will prob be close to the IS but prob still get beat
Lincoln LS is a tank and even the V8 is a high 14 sec car at best, its slow
Maxima 3.5 SE is a mid 14 sec car.
Yeah here's a street race (obligatory facepalm here for stupidity/danger) of an IS 350 WITH a passenger beating a 350Z that was on dry shot from a 20 roll, tying the Z from a 40 roll, destroying the Z from a dig, destroying a mustang GT from a dig, and losing to an SRT-4 from a 40 roll.
You'll see these cars reached speeds well over 100 MPH on these roads.
Don't be a retard by following suit. It's flat out dangerous/irresponsible. If you have the "race" at least keep it below 80 MPH, preferably only from stop lights with a clear straight road ahead (no traffic)
By the way the srt-4 had "unknown mods" listed but it had to be boosted without a doubt. stock srt-4s are mid to high 13 second cars
Hell with slicks + custom intake, exhaust, midpipe and most importantly VERY cold weather you can get into the high 12s as you can see, but those are not with street tires.
And that IS 350 was stock by the way. the 350z just for clarification, it's an 03 Z (280 bhp) but it was on dry shot, I don't know what rating.
The 2GR-FSE not only makes more torque than the VQ35, but over a broader engine range as well. It's far and away a better engine. Hell, it makes more torque than the new VQ37 as well.
