Exclamation Need new tires for my IS. Any suggestions?

I got a bubble on my driver's front tire (225/40/18 Goodyear F1), and a non-repairable nail in my rear driver's (255/40/18). Other 2 tires got 5/32nds thread left.
I'm now stuck with 2 options: replace only the left side with similar, or change all 4. Those Goodyears are expensive, and not very durable as I see from other posts. Any suggestions on which ones to get?
I see some good deals on Nitto's/Kumho/Hankook. Does anyone have any experience with those?

Hankook is good. I have a set of Sumitomo HTRZ III and they are really good too. Check them out. Really sweet price for a set of Sumitomo or Hankook tires. GL

I just red some reviews, there's a Chinese company - Sunny Tires, heard those are very cheap compared to Kumho's and Hankook's

I've had Kuhmos in the past and they have never let me down. Decent prices for a good tire.

Depends what you want: roadholding, ride quality, compromise between both, wet/snow handling, dry handling. My only advice is not to take the customer reviews on tire rack or discount tire too seriously. My experience has frequently been the opposite of those customer reports!

I've always followed the stock rule... as in the factory tested these things out the most and figured what was best for the IS. That way of thinking has never let me down either. But as others mentioned, it depends what your priorities are.

I finally decided to get Hankooks V12 - got a good price on them: $650-50rebate = $600 OTD. Will update once I mount.

I'm getting Michelin PS2 as next tire. I hear they're a high performance quiet tire, so I though I should try them out, and I can get them for a good price.

I bought Nitto 555 tires when I first got my new wheels, and I won't make that mistake again. Replaced them with Kumho tires and have been pleasantly surprised with them. Grip is much improved.

i thought F1 is just as quiet as the PS2 and performs similiar if not better than the PS2. What is wrong with the F1?
