Another AWD setup question
depend on how low are you going to drop... and the tires size..
im rubbing the front inner fender wtih 19x8.5 +36 with 235/35/19 tires....btw i still have 1/2 to 1 finger gap...
and the rear should be fine.....

my second option is, 19x8.5 +40 (f) with a 235-35-19 tire and 19x10 +45(r) 265-30-19 tire... I don't mind using a spacer.. Is this possible without fender modification and without straining the AWD?

both set up would work but for your 1st choice with the +25 i pretty sure you going to have to mod your fender. on your 2nd setup you be good but go with +35 front and +30 rear and you wont need spacer and no fender mods
when using the tire calculator.. am I comparing the stock size to the aftermarket size, or am i comparing the aftermarket front tire size to the aftermarket rear tire size? and exacatly what am i looking at...

well...there is 0.2" off comparing to the front and rear.....if you really want this set up, yes you will be fine...
but if you "just" want the 235...then you better get 275...because it's like no off....so 235 and 275 is the best....which it's safer...
or if you just want the 265, then go with 225/35/19...again it's only like0.1" off...it's still better than the set up that you want.
but again...your set up is still fine.
