Any one ever get an IS as a dealer loaner or request to have one?

 

Nope. Usually get an RX350 or ES350.

 

I got a loaner IS twice. Didnt have to ask for it.

 

I've gotten a RX,ES, and an IS... I usually ask for anything but a RX.

But I got a RX hybrid onetime.. and that ride was bad ***

 

Yeah, Thats like the most common here. If you tell them you dont mind which car, its always a IS. The others are ES or RX.

 

I usually get the ES. But then I would rather have the ES than the 250. Since the 250 feels so sloooooow..

 

My dealership only has one IS loaner, but I have yet to get it. I've gotten ES350's and GS350's in the past. The last 3 or 4 times I've had the RX Hybrid. Actually had it for almost a full week when they did the recall work

 

I've gotten an ES and a RX. The 2010 RX is really nice!

My dealership only has RX and ES loaners...

 

I got an ES350 once and it had cloth interior. The service guy who gave it to me, wasn't my normal guy. But this guy told me that ES had cloth because it was strictly a loner ride.

I was buggin out when I saw it. The cloth really made the car feel cheap.

 

I'm going in next week for the first time to get some tsb's and recall work done...hmm I wonder what I'm going to get?!?!?! I hope to try the new 2010 RX....

My dealer (Keyes) has a dozen RX hybrids and one ES. I've requested the ES every time and they refuse to hold it even with an appointment. I want to sample the 3.5 V6 and see what I may be missing with my IS250. Otherwise, the RX hybrids are decent even though I am not a SUV person. These are good samples to test out for the rest of my family, who has SUV's.

 

The 3.5 V6 in the ES is much less powerful than the one in the IS350. 34 fewer ponies, mostly due to less sophisticated fuel injection.

My dealer give you a choice of IS (IS250AWD only), ES or RX.
