tints
where are you located? i just got my tints done today. i dont see why people see tints as such a big deal. every car i get i tint. if you're located anywhere near westminster, you can go to this one place called USA tints, looks rundown and crappy and is owned by an old vietnamese guy but he always tints me up good, compared to sunrise tints down the street which tinted my previous 2GS. This is my second car i've gotten tinted at USA tints, in which price ran at 120. not sure if this is an "affordable" price by your standards, but if you are interested pm me for an address, i work right across the street..

seriously right? the only thing that really differs between tints are the color and whether or not they're reflective with UV protection. Like i said, i did my tacoma at USA tints, and i was very satisfied with the tints. I then did my tints for my 2GS at sunrise tints and i thought they were fine until someone pointed out that my tacoma was darker, it wasn't until today when i brought my 2IS to USA again that i realized they were right. i mean, as long as theres no bubbles, it doesn't peel, and it is covered by warranty then i dont see why 120 for a tint job would be an issue of saving a couple bucks
there's a difference between getting good value out of what you're paying for and paying the least amount of money for marginal products/services. "cheaping out" is the latter, and it's NOT being smart.
window tinting might not seem like a lot of money, but if you pay for cheap-o film and/or a half-assed tint job, you'll end up paying a lot more down the line.

sure, it's not cheap, but that's just to prove that color and UV protection aren't the only things that differ.
