Question Please help... Loosing coolant!

I just put in some LED wedge bulbs for my parking lights and noticed as I was putting the plastic covers back on that one of the hoses from the coolant reservoir was not connected to anything. its a short one that come out off the cap of the coolant reservoir. One goes into the engine and the other is just sitting there. Just took in the car for the recalls and TSIB for the knocking noise at startup and i guess they didn't put it back. Looked all over the engine bay to see where it goes but i see no outlet for the hose to go into. Anyone know where it would go?

Its the overflow hose. Coolant heats up and evaporate causing the dried coolant. This is normal.

how fast are you losing the coolants? its normal for the coolant to go below the max level on the expansion tank, but if you're going from max to min within a day or two, then there is a problem.

The new IS's take the new pink stuff. It's "super long life" coolant, as opposed to the red, "long life" coolant. It's already pre-mixed with water.
