Default airbag light on..again help.

ok like the title said the airbag light is on again. The light came on tuesday, so call the dealer make the appointment and took the car to the dealer today, got a call in the late afternoon from the service consultant sayin the cause of the light was my intake, sayin whoever installed it touch some wire or something that cause it, but i told him the intake was installed well over 2 years. well he said they fixed it and check the knee air bag and cleared the code, when i got the car there was no light so just now when i turn the car on the light came on again.. wht sure i do ? can the intake really affect the airbag? take the intake and put the oem on or take it to another dealer?

I'd recommend you install your OEM intake, get the code reset by another dealer, and monitor any changes. Goodluck!

hell no an intake will not trigger that light to come on. they probably told you that because they can't diagnose the problem correctly. take it to another dealer.

next time they reset it ask them what is it saying, im not a tech but when i asked my guy what was the system saying he was able to pin point it to the the passenger airbag light. my situation is not comparable to yours but see if they can be a little more precise.

Dude thats why I hate going to the dealership, cause they'll find a way to make excuses. Just because the intake is the only engine mod they're able to blame it on that. Its retarded that they're too lazy to pin point the problem for you or just too lazy to deal with it. Dont put on the oem intake, just take it to another dealership and get a second opinion. I think the intake would only cause one problem, thats the VSC sensors. GL
