whats up everybody! let me start off by saying ya's cars on this site is SICK!!! Mines nothing close but will get there soon. i've been riding my new 08is250 starfire pearl for about a good 5 months now and lovin it! so far i only tinted out my baby 5% all around, smoke out rearlights, reflectors as well, and a custom built sound system. im pushing one 12in jl w6 with the jl 500/1 amp. it bumps pretty hard and sounds very nice. the best thing about my system is that it does not rattle my trunk one bit. so thats all for now. i'll post picks up soon. but i do have one question. my car comes with hid already and i wanted to get brighter bulbs. all i have to do is buy the D4s bulbs and itll just plug in and fit perfectly right?

Welcome to the family of MODS. Thats a good question about changing the bulb, but sorry cant help you with that. Try using the search and something should come up. My car didnt come with HID's and I had to get aftermarkets.

Welcome to CL.

The OEM HID is 4300k I believe ... and is one of the brightest according to light output.

Anything higher ( 5000k , 6000k, 8000k or above) will DECREASE the light output and make it harder to see...
