I don't like the silver carbon... We want black one
I don't dig the silver stained fiberglass either. Nor do I like the fact that the composite material was layed down only on the top and bottom. It should be on the top, 5 o'clock and 8 o'clock positions.
I'd like to get this if it was OEM Toyota REAL carbon fiber like the one I've purchsed for my MKIV supra.
Really? i didnt know that having a custom wrapped steering wheel had guidelines that needed to be followed...
btw.. whats the part number for that steering wheel.. ive searched around and couldnt find an OEM CF supra wheel...
IMO, for aftermarket to blend in with OEM they should follow the direction OEM goes wth everything. I too am all about seamless OEM integration.
The MKIV supra CF steering is an option on the JDM RZ-S 2002 year model supra. That vehicle was an expensive supra back in the day. We're talking over $60K. It had OEM recaro seats, this steering wheel and an OEM body kit. The vehicle was also loaded with the power active front spoiler and OEM TRD 5 spoke wheels made by Rays. I purchased the steering wheel from MVP Motorsports. They are a sponsor here on CL. You could hit them up for the part number since I don't have it. It would probably be better to just purchase one from them. That is if they are even available anymore.
