what i've noticed is the more room you leave next to your car the closer people will park next to you. Its like they don't pay attention to the lines...just how far you are from you.

I always try to park next to the median with like 2" of clearance between my wheels and the curb and like 5' of space to the line but idiots always manage to park on the line or closer.

yea i dunno at hopefully that is the very back of the parking lot but still just like everyone said above thats just asking to get messed with.
