The car doesn't -have- struts, so I'm unsure what part you're trying to refer to

Do you maybe mean the shock?

The 2IS doesn't use struts- struts are part of an entirely different type of suspension that this car does not have.

They're really not.

struts are a structural part of the suspension. if you take off a strut, your suspension will no longer be fixed. take off the shocks on the IS and the suspension is still held in place by the upper and lower arms. therefore these are not struts.

If you'd like a better understanding of the differences in Macpherson (strut) suspensions vs. double wishbone (no struts, just shocks) suspension see here:

The OEM manufacture is "TOKIKO".....this is the answer for the original question from the begining...somehow this thread turned into a suspension lesson between what is/or not a strut

If the labels are still on your shocks, you will see that name printed on it.

So are you referring to the shocks? If so, I believe that Tokico seems to be the answer. I think the "bar" after the strut was confusing.
