Default Headlight Question!

I am wondering if the driver side's head light is a little bit lower than the passenger side. I just got my aftermarket HID installed, and they told me it's just like that. Also, if I drive it back to the lexus dealer and ask them to adjust level of the headlight for me, will that be free if my vehicle is still under warranty?

The driver side headlight will always be a little lower than the right so that there is lless chance of blinding oncoming drivers with it. If you had ever looked at your headlight beam pattern at night, on a dark street, etc., you will notice that the driver side is not as far out as the passenger side.
The dealer should have known this and told you...

Stokdgs is right on the money about that.

I will use this picture which details how the cutoff should look, posted by a user on the forum Mahcah recently:

The light should always have a step or slope downwards on the driver side. In fact, projectors themselves have a shield inside them that causes the light to have that step. The only reason why there is only one step in that picture is that the passenger side step blends in with the driver side.
