PIC REQUEST: Open Dash
Hey can anyone post up a picture of what the empty dash behind the OEM Stereo and AC Control units looks like (After you take it out)?
I'm trying to see the clearance behind there to see my options in terms of aftermarket head units and modification.
I tried searching but most pictures are only of the vents and unit itself.
Thanks

I just assembled my center console (NAV) this afternoon
but you don't really have that much space in the back
I couldn't even fit in any wires
but I don't really know how different NON-Nav looks

Suicidesam, your picture doesn't work..
It would be easier if i could just look at a picture rather than taking apart my dash just to find out that what me and my installer is planning is not possible.
If you mod the top area.... (im assuming you have a non-nav)... you can move the AC controls to the lower slot... and then install a unit like above, without having to have the controls on the door.
In the pic above.. looks like the controls would become useless ... better to have AC there ... and the music stuff integrated into the nav.

This is why i would like to see a picture (if anyone has one) before i go ahead and start taking apart my car.
