Default Chrome Polish/Cleaner

So... long story short, I became a little lazy and didn't clean my lexus HKS chrome exhaust tips as often as I should have, and now it seems the soot and other crap have very slightly dis-colored it.

What do you guys recommend to fix this? Also, is there a certain way to keep chrome nice and shiny? For my wheels, I usually wipe them down with a damp microfiber cloth once a week and it seems to do the trick, but the exhaust tips seem to need a little more....

Thanks

For my Tanabe exhaust tips after washing and wiping it with clean cloth i use Turtle wax chrome polisher... It removes all the soot and gives it back its new look shine

Thanks. Ill give that a try.

Now... one area (lower half of left tip) about the size of our key fob, is getting slightly dull/rough ... not sure if the polish can fix that.... looks like the actual chrome coating was eaten away

are you guys cleaning the outside or the inside of the pipe? 'cause I usually just clean the outer chrome part and just leave the inside black.
