Default M/L question..

i am new to the forums and been searching around for a while and found some GREAT info so far!! i have a question about the m/l system.i am currently using nav without m/l. how would i be able to convert my unit to m/l?.i also see that the unit is split on the bottom into 2 pieces.can i just pull the bottom piece out and just swap it with the m/l piece? or do i need the entire piece with the nav and all? im trying to accomplish watching dvd's without adding a external source.is it worth it or should i just get an external unit to play dvd's?

thanks for any info

There is so much more to the ML system than just the head unit. You would have to swap the amp in the back and all of the speakers as well. Possibly even the wiring harness. It could cost you thousands to convert.
