Default how much do steering wheels go for???

and how hard are they to install??

i should really ask how much is it to get the steering wheel re wrapped with leather...i scratched mine!!!

you can find them pretty cheap on ebay from time to time

would installing it require air bag dis assembly...etc.

i wonder if my dealer has a reputable place for re wrapping...

you don't need to take the airbag apart, but you do need to detach it, which is a hitch.

i called the stealership...i might just have their leather specialist fix it...under 100 dollars

What a deal..my local stealership tried convincing me to replace my whole wheel which was $500+..

^^^yea their is no way im replacing the whole wheel...the rest of it is perfectly fine. the other alternative is re wrapping the wheel but i heard that runs about $250...no thanks

the person i spoke too said you wont even notice the repair...for under a 100 you cant beat it...ill let you guys know how it turns out..

I have one at home, that I would be willing to sell for $100+shipping. I live in VA.

I will have to verify that it isnt scratched before I can sell it though(Its been in the top of my closet, I bought it for my 06, after I sratched the wheel with my fingernails, but have since sold that car).

Its the black steering wheel. I'll let you know how it looks tonight and post a picture.

Damn, sorry I checked the wheel. Its not perfect, it must have been scrapped in the box. There is a small indent where the arrow points. Oh well.

Id say just get yours fixed. Man the "leather" on these wheels are weak!

^^^thanks anyways...i could live with the dent but their is a scratch on the bottom of yours as well...the leather is weak. thanks again!!!

ill post before and after shots of my wheel.
