Default Parking lights??

Hey all,

You know for example, bmw, audi, mercedes, they all have parking lights. When you leave your car parked in the street for example, you leave your parking lights on.

Does our 2IS have them? i was looking all over and trying diff things with the turn signal lever but couldn find it.

Do we have them? how do we turn them on?

THankss

Yes we do. on the headlight switch, its the one under the headlights on. At night turn on your car and turn the **** two down from auto(i believe) and look at your headlights.

Yeup if you have the parking lights on you will still have the daylights on...unless you start the car with the parking brake on...then the DRL will be off.

If I understand you question...you want to leave your parking lights on while parked and car not running???....If that is your question..then our cars will shut off the parking lights when your ignition is turned off...I wonder is it necessary for you to have it on after you parked your car??
Is it a required law or just a preference?.

yeah exactly, after you turn off the car and walk away. I believe thos are parking lights, cause you leave them on when the car is parked and off. Its good because sometimes your park you car in a very dark street and someone might just not see it or w/e.

For example in BMW, with parking lights you can leave either left or right halos on. A very dim light just enough for other cars to knotice them.
