iPhone 3G & IS350

I'm just wondering if anyone was able to connect iPhone 3G to the stock non-ML navi unit and play music/videos. I know VAIS works with the iPod, anyone tried the iPhone?

VAIS uses your dock connector like you're connecting it to your computer...yeah it works on the iphone 3g too.

but anyways.. i have the Vaistech SL2Vi (non-ML also) n' it's amazing... the SL2Vi alone won't charge your iPhone3G so you have to buy an adapter from that will connect to the existing cable that comes out... you can check out the thread for pictures on what the connector looks like...

it's integrated really well... all the playlists show up on the nav screen... music videos play fine... and as a bonus... as a iPhone3G user.. you can even play youtube videos n' it'll play on the nav screen... yea the audio quality is bad for youtube videos but... it's just another entertainment option =/

Thanks alot for the info!!! Nice thread! I had no idea that you can also play YouTube videos on the screen. Looks like SL2Vi is going to be my next upgrade.....
