I am looking for a nice ipod/ iphone adapter for my IS350 with navigation. I currently have an iPhone 5. I am hoping for a native iphone 5 kit (lightning adapter) I would like to avoid having to buy the old iPhone to lighting adapter.

Do they make this yet? Or is it too soon?

It won't use any adapters to connect with iPhone 5, you just use a regular iPhone to USB cable for connection.

Is this MML a replacement for the ML+? I don't see anything on the website about this MML showing album artwork?

I believe the ML+ was an upgrade to the MML but it's discontinued now. The last I heard they were coming up with a new version that would be compatible with the iphone 5 but they're waiting for Apple's approval process.

To answer your questions, because in the past, VAIS wanted me to buy a $60.00 cable when I lost the adapter provided in my SL2VI kit, I have a working solution for any ipod kit out in the market

If you have the old cable ( 12 volts -- original ipod cable) you will need a 12V to 5 V Convertor



***this can be found on amazon or ebay for $10.00*** (needed if you want your phone to charge while playing music)

Once you have that, and or if you dont need that simply purchase one of these Ipod to Ipod 5 dock convertors



Though you may have anywhere from 1 - 2 adapters plugged in with your kit, your ipod kit will charge the phone and function just like it has with other ipods and or iphones.

Be careful using the non-OEM Apple accessories on the iPhone 5.

I was using a non-OEM lightning cable for my 5 and I upgraded to iOS7 recently and it doesnt work anymore.
