I've had to replace my 5 LED refractor wedge bulbs a few times as they keep burning out. I'm using them as the parking light. Is there any other alternatives that can last much longer? I really dont want to use a normal bulb as it never matches the HID.
I read somewhere that the SMT wedge bulbs are better quality and last much longer. Is this true? Can someone please advise me on this and possibly guide me to a particular brand or type?
go for the V-LEDS 13SMT/19SMT wedge bulb if u have 6k HIDs... if you have 8ks... u can try 27SMT... i've bee running it since august.. no problem so far..
has anyone used these smt bulbs for a long time? I drive with my lights on for a few hrs a day so I'm wondering if it will survive as a normal halagon wedge bulb. Does the smt's blow out like one by one like the way refractor bulbs do? E.g. Like one led at a time
it shouldn't be the case.. and why would u be driving the car with the lights on in the day when u got DRLs?? the DRL is a different bulb than the parking lights
