I ordered a set of 20" wheels and tires. The shop that sold me a set put a 235/35/20 in the front and a 275/30/20 in the back. Now my issue is, im rubbing a lot in the front, i have been looking around and noticed everyone else is running a 235/30/20 in the front. The tire shop says its crazy to run 30's front and back but didn't give me a reason why. Can anyone help me out, is anyone else lowered on springs with a 235/35 in the front?
That's why I don't like listening to shops... I would always run around all the threads and find some body with perfect setting.
I don't have the right solution to you, but I would return the tires that I'm having problems with and ask the guy to change them because they are rubbing and I can't run with my car like that...
If he refused I would punch him in the face and call the police to deal with how stupid is he. This is your right as a customer so return those tires and exchange them with something doesn't rub.

hahaha thats not what i would do but it IS an option considering you spent a good amount of money on the rims
bleh i hate seeing stretched tires.... but yea find out where its rubbing n go from there....
bleh i hate seeing oversized tires...
Thing is... you should listen to the ppl here on this board rather than what some guy in a tire shop says, does the guy own a 2IS with 20" rims/xxoffset running Xsize tires with Xin drop? if he does then listen but if he dont.... well... BUT he is right thou about running 30series tires, you CAN but its not advisable.
As for your problem, jack up the car/yank the tire and look to see where your rubbin, then get a heat gun and melt the liner and push it away with something, preferably not your hand thou
LOL i meant like 215 series on a 8.5 inch rim..... or 255's on a rim that should have 265 or something like that... thats what i meant by bleh... looks ugly but of course roll the fender or heat the liner n push it away (your hand does the best work LOL) and see if you go thinner obviously.. spacer yay nay? (im a noob at the whole offset subject)
