Looks alright in black but in white when you can see all the curves im not digging it.

Looking at it from the top, I agree. But from the sides, not so much.
That's one of the things that I like about it though.

Nope, that's a different lip. It does look similar to the Five-Axis lip, but is a lot more rounded.
