Default Underbody LED kit? yes or no?

I've been trying to decide if I want to throw on a red LED underbody kit. I've never put one on a car before, so I'm not sure if it's worth it. Give me your opinion, especially if you have had these on any of your cars. Also, if you know of a good installer for the kits, let me know. Thanks!

if your going to put LEDs under ur car.. go with the JDM VIP look.. get LED pods.. 4 - 5 pods on each sideskirt..

I would do the whole jdm vip look as well. I used to have the led underbody kit on my beater car and they suck. I think you're gonna need at least 2 sets (8 bars total) to light up the underbody. You can't just use 4 bars and expect to be able to see it.

IS350jonny, are you saying I should get four 4 foot bars for each side of the car? That seems like overkill.

Are those 5-LED pods or 4-LED pods? I'm new to this LED stuff but have always been interested. How hard are they to install?

BTW-nice ride weesped

How are your pods mounted...screws/glue/velcro? And what was the damage to the credit card?

Puddle lights FTW. Do LED's in the wheel wells.

If you go with LED strips. Try 2 bars and make your decision on how bright it is.
It could be cheap spreaded out LED's probably need 4 bars

it all depends on what kind of pods u buy.. most require u to drill a hole on the sideskirt to mount it.. i ended up using epoxy to glue it in after i drilled.. some pods u buy have brackets that u just screw into the sideskirt.. wiring is very simple.. just a positive and a negative u tap to a power source.. depending on how u want ur pods to light up is the tricky part to figure out what wires to tap. pricing runs from $20 on ebay to $180 for "JDM" ones.
