Default Unofficial Bluetooth Compatibility Thread

Hey CL - was recently upgrading my phone and wanted one with FULL bluetooth compatibility with my IS250. I've used the Lexus.com Bluetooth compatibility tool, but 1) it doesn't update as quickly with all the phones that are really on the market and they tend to drop the older (and cheaper as some carriers clear them out) phones, and 2) don't trust it 100% - I think our real-world experiences are more reliable.

I've also combed through several threads and have found useful info regarding phone compatibilities with our nav units, BUT it took LOTS of searching and weeding and I thought it'd be great to have a thread that *ONLY TRACKS BLUETOOTH PAIRING INFORMATION*.

Feel free to add any line items that you think are relevant, but maybe we should keep "carrier quality" out of it (just a suggestion) since that varies geographically and we can *KEEP IT TO JUST WHETHER BLUETOOTH WORKS OR NOT*

I'll start off:
Brand: Motorola
Model: KRZR
Carrier: Verizon Wireless
Pairs: Yes
Transfer Contacts: NO on Single or Multiple
Caller ID: Only if NAV contact entry matches phone contact entry
Battery Level: Yes
Ringtones: Matches phone (but I haven't customized my ringtones)

Just because I'm new around here - I didn't want to get crazy and make "official" threads.

Hopefully people start contributing this time - I almost decided on the MOTORIZR myself based on Lexus' tool - because who knows when they would have reviewed the HTC/iPhone/Blackberries of the world - definitely not before Xmas - but then I thought, we need our own homegrown tool. Mods, wanna change the title for us (can I do it?)

For people with iPhones - you cannot transfer contacts via Bluetooth. It's not Lexus's fault, it's the way the iPhone is designed.

I have an 8830 (VZ) I got my address book to bluetooth transfer to the phone. Manage Connections --> Bluetooth Options --> HIGHLIGHT Paired Device ---> Press Blackberry Key --> Transfer Address Book
