Thats basically the boat I'm in. I got an HTC Droid from Verizon. It pairs and connects, but I have no idea how to transfer contacts.

Hey guys,

I have a Motorola Droid. I'm pretty sure the HTC Hero/Eris use android as its OS. Go to the market and download Bluetooth File Transfer (BFT). After you've done so follow these instructions.

(PHONE)
1. Go to contacts
2. Hit the menu button and click on Import/export.
3. Export to SD card. (This will create a 0001.vcf file)
4. Open up BFT and it will turn on your BT and make your device discoverable.

-Go to your navigation, click telephone, follow by phonebook, transfer data, and then click on which ever group name or make one up on the previous screen with the register icon. After you pick one it should start the pairing process.

(BACK TO PHONE)
5. Click on remote files and find your cars BT and connect.
6. Go back to local files and find the 0001.vcf
7. Long press the file and a menu should pop up.
8. Click on send via bluetooth and Wa la! Your contacts from the phone should transfer into your navigation.

*If this does not work then, I don't know what else to do. Good luck!
