Default Window problem...help?

So I switched out my wood trim with the silver trim. I changed out the window switch plates on each window and now the "Auto" roll down does NOT work anymore plus I can't controll any windows from the driver side switch plate!!! Any ideas?

EDIT: Windows in roll down just fine but can't use the "Auto" feature and can't controll other windows from the driver seat.

Make sure the electric connection is not loose. Seems to be a wiring issue.

Do the process all over again for the driver side plate...

I believe when the window switch is unplugged or the battery removed, you must reset the switch. I think the procedure is rolling the window all the way down, holding the window in the down position a few seconds, and then rolling the window all the way up, and holding the window in the up position for a few seconds. You have to do this with each window. It may be up first and then down.

The most asked question in the history of Club Lexus!

I still wish I knew the engineering rational behind it

There's no need to roll the windows down at all. just hold every single button up past the first detent for a couple seconds, one at a time and you're golden. the window could be closed shut too, it doesn't matter.

Default Here is the reset procedure

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal for 10 seconds .
2.Connect the battery terminal.
3.Turn the engine switch on (IG).
4.Halfway open the power window by pressing the power window switch.
5.If the AUTO UP/DOWN function operates normally, reset operations have been completed at this time. If not normal, follow the steps.
6.Turn the engine switch on (IG).
7.Halfway open the power window by pressing the power window switch.
8.Fully pull up the switch until the power window is fully closed and continue to hold the switch for approx. 12 seconds after the power window is fully closed.
9.Check that the AUTO UP/DOWN function operates normally.

Rolling the window up and holding it for a few seconds did the trick!
