i see very small ripples which looks to be a part of the windshield itself reminiscent of an orange peel. at first, i thought it was staring at actual heatwaves in the air. it's not as bad as it sounds, you can only see it against white colors and you have to concentrate to see it.
i can live with it, if it's nothing, fine, but i'm asking out of curiosity because i've never seen anything like this before.
Are the ripples bluish in color and about 1" in size (as opposed the the size of paint "orange peel")? If so, then yes, that's the lamination/tempering of the glass - normal.
