It's a dealership here in SoCal.

What's the point of the card key anyway aside from looking cool? There is no trunk open button nor alarm buttons so it really can't replace the fob key. I guess you can impress your date.
Like stated before, to some it is a matter of convenience. I don't have to carry my keyfob on my pocket and that is less hassle. I also do not have to worry about forgetting my key since my wallet is always with me and it is the one thing I never forget when I leave my house. I don't really use the buttons on the key fob to open the doors or the trunk either. I like just carrying my cel and wallet in my pockets and nothing else.

Plus how can a key fob even impress a date? Does people actually take out the card key and proceeds to their date to say, "check this out, I can open it without pressing any buttons"?

till this day i haven't pressed a single button on my fob...there's a trunk button by your rear plate and i don't see a need for a panic button either.

I agree with this 110%. I see no need for this bulky key fob in my pocket. I have yet to use any buttons on the fob, the only thing I have used is the key for the glove box once or twice. With keyless entry and outside button for truck do we really need this lump in our front pockets?

I use my fob occasionally. If it is hot out and I am near the car. I will open the windows by holding the unlock button. I use the trunk button if someone else is opening the trunk.
