Dang, that sucks. But aftermarket stuff should be covered from my experience (thankfully not involving my BSP baby).

sucks.. so did insurance cover the aftermarket parts?. a friend of mine had a fender bender and his insurance took care of his aftermarket bumper and everything. it might just very from company and level of coverage.
