Too late now, but it looks like you should have gone with a wheel offset a little more conservative. do you have any idea what the offset of that rear wheel is by any chance??

Yep. When i ordered the wheels they told me that the offset was 38 and they would rub but they sent them to a machine shop and changed the offset to 41. The guy at the shop said this is what he had to do for his lexus. Unfortunalty i still rub. Do you know if it is possible for me to get another inch machined off?

Run skinnier tires will help what size tires do u use? A 245/35 might solve the rubbing issue in the rear

Edit on my original post here

I would NOT have the shop further shave off anymore of the wheel because now your wheel in integrity is in jeopardy.

I see how he can shave the back and make offset higher because by doing so he brings the wheel 3mm closer inside the wheel well.

If you shave another inch off you are going to risk the whole wheel falling apart lol.

Take a good look at the back of your wheel. You see the area where the studs go in and then you lock them in place with the wheel lug nuts? Imagine shaving off even 1/4 more of an inch of that. You will lose stability and everything.

Dont do it, also if you try to sell these wheels hope that the new buyer doesnt see this thread because man i wouldnt buy wheels that have been shaved backwards like that.

What you can do is run smaller tires with a stretch and get a lower drop + Camber and you will not have the rubbing problem.

The best fix for your issue now is to run a very slight negative camber in the rear and just make sure to get it aligned good and rotate em by flipping.

i disagree. if your fender is all shaved and you drop the car, the camber will "help" and probably will be fine

I only get a slight rub on the front left tire when i turn very sharp but i think i can deal with that. I can fix that with a heat gun.

That doesnt look like a 38 offset. Looks more like a 30 to me. I think you can stretch the tire using a 255

Thanks everyone for all your help. I'm very happy to say my rubbing problem is fixed. All i did was shave the inside of my fenders a little (not much at all). I then had 3 of my friends get in the trunk and had them jump. The fender not goes down pass the tire with no rubbing.

that's good, we'll see if you will rub again once you are lowered on springs, i am gonna guess yes

unless you go coils and go lower than springs and run a more aggressive camber to clear it

from the pic, it does look pretty aggressive.
