Stock parts only. Just say that you have the factory HKS exhaust or F-sport.

WHILE you are at it... might as well get the slightly different 09 bumpers. (You noted that you were hit in the front as well?)

Hopefully they mount the same... though You would have to buy a new grille. Its worth it to pay the difference. And this way, its like getting a "partially paid for" upgrade instead of getting repairs

ouch... I know what thats like... trust me! -_-

as for the exhaust! yes they should replace it... cuz it was on your car when you got hit. they have to fix it back to the way it was...

sucks for the person that hit you though. cuz there insurance is gonna hit the sky now =)

your aftermarket should be covered. I know with statefarm, anything that is bolted down to your car is covered. this would include your exhaust, lip and what not. if you have reciepts i am sure that will help.

Go to Image Autobody in South San Francisco. Phil will work a deal with you and can probably replace the damaged aftermarket parts. Tell him Gary sent you

And don't tell insurance that you want the aftermarket stuff replaced, just deal directly with the shop. But if you already mentioned it to them and they give you crap, demand that you want the car exactly the way it was before the accident, it's their job.

i have a question maybe you guys could help me out, especially those who had experience...

my brother was involved with an accident just like this but he was the person that hit the car that got cut off. how will insurance see this case? will the 1st car be 100% at fault?

it happen like this from what he told me...

1st car cuts off 2nd car and made a sudden stop while doing so.
2nd car does not have enough distance to stop and rams into 1st car
3rd car (brother) coudlnt stop in time and rams into 2nd car

from my experience i think my brother is SOL in this 3 car collision since he shouldve been following in a safe distance but is there any way this might fall 100% on the 1st car that cause this chain reaction?

Thanks
Tom

The 2nd car pays to fix the rear of the 1st car and his own front end.
The 3rd car pays to fix the 2nd car rear and his own front end.

i dont see how that is possible when the 1st car was the one that cause the accident by cutting the 2nd car off and emergency braking at the same time.
