I got my calipers painted, told the shop i wanted it sprayed, so it would be as smooth as possible, i come back and find it brush painted...

would they be able to smooth it down? either sand it down a bit and apply some varnish or whatever finish they use. Was a bit upset with the final product, voiced my opinion to the shop and they said bring it in.

For anyone that has already painted: does urs look like this? is it smoother?
The dude at the shop told me that it couldnt have been spray painted as the special paint they used would clog up a spray gun. let me know what u guys experienced

They don’t look that bad, if you really want to fix it then buy a can of 5 dollar caliper spray paint and fix it.

Why didn’t you have your rears painted?

you could get the stickers made almost anywhere, I would suggest spraying a few layers of clear over the stickers so they last longer/look better.

rears are painted, not visible in the last pic though, cause they so bloody small

i think stickers and clear coat on the front would do the trick, cover up the bad paint job

i don't think that's bad. that works for me. all you need is stickers and apply another clear coat, and you are

if you want a good decal, look at www.motogfx.com/lexus

That's how mine is. When you brush it, it'll come out like that. For some reason i liked it better than the spray, IMO. I think it looks great!

Man, the same thing happened to me, but instead I was the one who painted it with brush. they came out ok but I wanted them better than ok. since I didnt give them a clear ENAMEL coat I decided to paint them with spray maint on top. they came out smoother and better, then i gave it the CLEAR COAT ENGINE ENAMEL and they look much better.

heres the thread with before and after pics:

I got the one for IS350. it fits pretty well, looks good to me.

take note that if you buy the IS350 ones, you only get a set for front brakes. they don't give anything for the back. but I don't think you need a decal for the back
